The Process Begins
1.) Get In touch
Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer to our customers. Work with our dedicated team to guide you through the design process and bring your idea to life.
Susie is the ‘voice’ and go-to person of the business. She is an FGA qualified gemmologist and GIA diamond grader. Her passion for quality, combined with her wealth of knowledge and experience brings a shine of brilliance to client satisfaction. Lisa is the sales, marketing, and creative ideas guru of the team, she loves to promote and sell gorgeous jewellery. Not only can she put together a dazzling client event, but she is also a qualified gemmologist and valuer – she really knows her stuff. Amanda is golden at helping our clients discover the jewellery of their dreams. She makes everyone’s day with her vibrant personality and willingness to go the extra mile. Celine has a passion for design and loves to work alongside our customers to ensure they are getting the piece of their dreams. She is a confident communicator and has a real eye for detail.
2.) We will Create a Bespoke Design For you
Your vision and inspiration blended with our knowledge and expertise.
The first stage of the design process requires some discussion and brainstorming about what you have in mind. Sometimes we suggest creating a ‘mood board’ to collate images of designs and styles that inspire you. We will discuss metals and settings and use our extensive range of in-store designs to offer some inspiration. Setting refers to how gemstones are set, or mounted, into a metal band. See our page “knowing your settings’ for some further insight into the terminology. The ring setting is meant to highlight the beauty of an engagement diamond. Style refers to the overall design aesthetic that the ring setting helps create—whether it be solitaire, halo or three stone. During this visit we will also have some discussion about price. Because whilst no one likes putting a price on love, there is no way to avoid it when dealing with precious metals and gemstones! Having a price target in mind is incredibly useful as it means we can then search for the best quality gemstones that fits within your desired range.

3.) Choosing your diamond precious gem
Select from our incredible hand-selected range, or allow us to source you a special gem from one of our trusted suppliers.
We are incredibly proud of our extensive range of loose gemstones and diamonds. Each stone has been hand-selected by Susie and Lisa, our expert gemmologists. We are passionate about getting our clients involved in the process of design. Being able to touch and view the gems in their loose state is truly special. For the gent’s who are unable to decide on the design of the engagement ring, yet still wants to present his loved one with something special, we recommend choosing one of our magnificent loose GIA certified diamonds. Then, you can come into store and finalise the design details after popping the question.
4.)Final design tweaks
Small adjustments
After creating a rough sketch in store, and taking notes of all special requests, we then proceed to get a firm quote. At this stage we can also offer a CAD design which is a digital picture of the ring before it is made. Once both parties are happy with the design, we are ready to proceed to the next step.
